Alessandra Veccia was born in Palestrina (Rome) in 1968.

Formerly she manifested her fantasy and creativity in realizing floral artworks for her florist shop, nowadays her artistic gifts developed in the painting art, her real natural passion.

She closed for good her shop and she starts attending maestro Gabriele Jagnacco school of painting. He recognizes immediately her talent and encourages her to follow her passion never interfering with her style and trend.

Her works touch social themes, that also mirroring deep sore of our society, they are ignored by the greatest part of the people that they are imprisoned in the frantic mechanisms of the daily life dictated by the social conventions more and more that these times of ours "we impose". In her works she represent women, children, people that in general they transmit feelings through their eyes, their looks, their expressions, fruit of their depth to feel, of their states of mind. The protagonists of her works look you, they fix you, capturing the attention of the spectator, involving him and making him to reflect on daily situations that we think distant, but at the same time near, as responsibility of the whole humanity. Her children have the melancholy in the eyes, the resignation of whom won't have a future. Our duty is to give them that future to which they have right, the future that all of us assure to our own children.
Children are children and we have the duty to teach them that each of them has the right to a future of dignity and hope.
